The TriPass group in Raleigh, NC has started a Special Interest Group on Advanced DBA Topics. This means we are looking for talks at a level 300 and above. Our group will normally meet the second Tuesday of the month at 6PM Eastern Standard Time. Our ambition is to have 50% female speakers. With PASS membership only being 20% female this will be a high bar to meet so we will need help to meet this goal. With the technical depth of the talks the group will be covering, we realize a lot of the speakers will be presenting remotely, which we fully set up to do. So if you are interested in speaking for this group (male or female) please email me.

To RVSP for these events join our Meetup group and watch out for the invites.

In the upcoming SQL Server 2017 release, not only is wait statistics information included in Query Store, but the Automatic Tuning feature has been added to help further stabilize…
